25/5/18 - First residents move into Mabel Luke Place
Today, the first residents moved into their brand new homes. After three years of work, the re-development of Mabel Luke Place was completed and handed over to the Charity by local builders, Feltham Construction.
We are grateful to our funders who made it possible for us to give sixteen households high quality flats in the center of Newbury. The £2.5 million needed came from Homes and Community Agency; Greenham Common Trust; West Berkshire Council; Newbury Town Council; Greenham Parish Council; Englefield Trust; the Charity's own resources and a loan from the Charity Bank.
The Directors wish all our residents every happiness in their new homes!
